My Dad’s birthday is tomorrow….cake ideas?

He is into poker and cars….I want to make his birthday really special. I am going to be making a cake and a special dinner for him. What are some good cake ideas? I’m a pretty good cake decorater, but I’m not professional or anything. I have access to a michaels but I don’t know how to decorate the cake. help

why not make a square cake (card shape) and decorate as the Ace of Clubs as your dad would be the #1 Ace of your Club (family). You can add small chips around it for a border to signify he had a winning hand and won all the chips! If he likes the cars too you can probably find or make him a card with that on it – then you have represented both likes in the birthday celebration. Hope his party turns out great!
