How can i make a cake themed on Twilight?
I really would like a Twilight themed cake for my 15th birthday, me and my 2 best friends are proper obsessed with all the Twilight books, and for my birthday i would quite like to show off and have a Twilight birthday cake.
The problem is that i would have to make the cake on my own! I can bake cakes, but when it comes to the decorating part i’m absolutely lost. I have considered going to a bakers and getting them to do it for me but i think that would cost to much.

Has anyone got any simple ways to decorate a cake to these kind of designs? It has to be simple as i said before, i’m no good at decorating cakes!

Well I don’t know about those cakes, since they look like they’re made by proper cake-makers (a baker or someone)
However, I was thinking more simply… Just make a normal rectangular sponge (any flavour you like) or and cover it in black icing or w/e
Then use roll-out icing or something to make the design. Play with it until you’re happy!
Another idea is to make 4 (there are 4 books, yeah?) smaller cakes – they don’t have to be plain rectangular – you can twist them to make it more book shaped or something. Then just do the same with the black icing etc.
You could stack them so it looks like a pile of books… or something…
However, to save yourself the effort you could ask a good baker to do it but I don’t think it’ll be TOO expensive… depends on the extravagance of the cake (those pictures you supplied would probably be pretty heavily priced, due to all the layers & icing etc)
